Week of September 28th - Plants Part 3 - Structure of a plant
Summary: Now that we know what it takes for a seed to grow and start a new plant, let's look at the different parts of a plant and their functions! Then, you will make a model of a plant using anything you can find around your house. For example, maybe you'll decide to use some string for the roots, a toilet paper roll for the stem, some paper for the leaves and a cotton ball for the flower! Get creative and be a plant engineer! We'll share your creations on Zoom next week. Below is a video about plant structure and their functions.
