Morning Drop-Off and
Afternoon Pick-Up Reminders—
o Please remember to pull
all the way forward to the farthest end of the circle when dropping off or
picking up.
o Students should use the
passenger side for getting into and out of their cars.
o Please do not use the back
of the school for dropping off or picking up students.

Author Visit-Liberty School 3rd
through 6th graders will be visiting with, Adam Jay Epstein and
Andrew Jacobson, co-authors of the new book, The Familiars, tomorrow morning at 11:00 a.m.

Another Day in Paradise- Aloha Liberty
Families! Our annual walk-a-thon will be on Friday, October
15th! Look for information and sign-up
sheets coming home soon. Here are a few
items to think about until then:
o
Remember
this is one of two major fundraisers for the Liberty Foundation this year and every
dollar counts!,
o
Corporate
or Family Sponsorship Forms - Due Wednesday 10/6,
o
Please
submit your student's sponsorship forms either to your teacher or to Joyce in
the office,
o
Monies
will be collected with the Walk-A-Thon pledge sheets this year,
o
Recycle
Island-We're having a RECYCLE CLASS CHALLENGE!
From Monday to Friday next week 10/11-10/15, each class will bring in
and accumulate recyclable items at their classrooms - plastic containers #1 and
#2, aluminum cans, and juice pouches. We
will display each class's collection of recycled items on the mid-field of the
track during the Walk-A-Thon on Friday - the class who accumulates the largest
pile by Friday will win a special party for their class! All recyclables will ultimately go to assist
the 4th grade's recycle fundraising efforts.

Petaluma Valley Athletic Club-PVAC is offering a
complimentary 7 day family pass to be used in September. If a family decides to join PVAC, the
enrollment fee of $100 will be donated back to Liberty School. There will be a drawing for 5 free
enrollments on September 22nd.
Free passes are available in the main office. If you decide to join, fill out a drawing
card for the free enrollment.

Band-Liberty has been lucky to hire SSU and SRJC adjunct professor
Jordan Wardlaw as our new band instructor.
Information about this year’s band program will coming out from Mr.
Wardlaw to band students in the next week.
